Therapy
High-Quality, Cost-Effective Rehabilitation Services
We provide high-quality, cost-effective rehabilitation services for individuals experiencing impaired function due to injury, cumulative trauma, or disease. Care is delivered through a collaborative, team-based approach that emphasizes ongoing communication between surgeons, therapists, patients, and other members of the care team. Each patient receives one-on-one care and an individualized treatment plan tailored to their specific goals and functional needs. Through education, structured home programs, and active patient participation, we empower individuals to take an informed and engaged role in their recovery. Our focus on functional outcomes supports a safe, timely return to productive activity—whether at home, at work, or in daily life. In addition to exceptional patient care, we actively promote ongoing research and evidence-based practice among our clinical staff.
Our rehabilitation team includes certified hand therapists (CHTs) who are also licensed physical or occupational therapists. Achieving CHT certification requires a minimum of three years of clinical experience and successful completion of a comprehensive examination covering advanced clinical skills and theory in upper extremity rehabilitation. This advanced level of specialization enhances our ability to deliver precise, evidence-driven care and complements the expertise of our surgeons in treating conditions of the hand and upper extremity.
Professional Services
Hand therapy services include a comprehensive evaluation of physical and functional abilities, assessment of findings, and development of a plan to achieve stated goals. Treatment is then instituted based on clinical findings, the individual's needs, knowledge of upper extremity anatomy and physiology, diagnosis, and if applicable, surgical procedure and stage of healing.
